Star & Cross is a traditional quilt block also known as ‘North Star’ and ‘Shining Hour’. The block style falls into the 'Nine X' category, characterized by a diagonal orientation within the square. The blocks are divided by diagonal seams, resulting in eight or nine distinct major shapes.
Star & Cross is a Block on Board® (BOB®) die which means it’s specially designed to cut a 3-color, 10" block in one pass through the cutter.
